Our 620 SM LC is a fully-hollow guitar with parallel braces and Collings’ proprietary, model-specific maple laminate construction.  As with the 620 model, the SM LC variant keeps with our modern design aesthetic while evolving aspects of past builds based on knowledge we’ve gained from recent vintage-inspired developments, such as the I-35 LC Vintage.

A deep body and increased mass provide a broad dynamic range with plenty of sustain while maintaining an inviting, open feel.  The unique Righteous Sound Diadem pickups resemble a custom-voiced staple P90, right and honest, but with an added musical richness.

The 620 SM LC is offered with either a Bigsby vibrato or solid tailpiece, both paired with a pinned ebony bridge based and tune-o-matic bridge top, along with Davies Radio knobs and our “Flipped Haircut” peghead.
