Ladybird Prototype
No cutaway, single-pickup Ladybird prototype with spruce laminate top
Description
This Ladybird prototype was designed and built to showcase at The Fretboard Summit 2025 in Chicago. While it offers many of the standard Ladybird features, such as a fully-hollow body, extra short 24 1/8″ scale length, rosewood bridge with trapeze tailpiece, and custom Ladybird tortoise pickguard and truss rod cover, it is the first of its kind with no cutaway and a single Throbak KZ-90 Dogear pickup. It also showcases a vintage-style sunburst over a laminate spruce top – neither of which are offered on the current Ladybird model – and is completed with our fully-aged finish and hardware package.
