This custom D1 features one of the most striking figured sapele sets we’ve seen, a rare find and one that begged special attention.  Enter the warm, rich tones of a cedar top, which perfectly complement the back and sides both sonically and aesthetically.

Cedar also provides an exceptionally quick and articulate response for a large-bodied guitar, while the punchy midrange and bright top end of the sapele ensure plenty of detail and note separation shine through.
