Collings C10 T: Classic 14-fret design with an open, woody character
The C10 Traditional reimagines one of our longstanding body styles through the lens of our vintage-inspired Traditional Series. This narrow-waisted acoustic offers a compact alternative to larger guitars, providing a focused, punchy response and open, airy midrange in an instrument that is as comfortable to hold as it is rewarding to play.
Leaning into the enhanced resonance of our T-Series build, the C10 T delivers a broken-in feel and a level of projection that defies its size.
Model comparison:
- C10 Traditional (T-Series): Combines the short-scale comfort of the C-00 with the high-fidelity bloom of our Traditional build. It is less dry, more balanced, and more overtone-rich than the C-00 while remaining looser and more open than the standard C10.
-
C-00: The most vintage-inspired and raw in the lineup. The use of a rosewood fingerboard and bridge combined with specific bracing creates a less refined, mid-heavy voice that excels at old-time blues and aggressive fingerstyle.
-
Standard C10: The “electric player’s acoustic.” Its longer scale (25.5″) provides higher tension and more projection, making it punchy and modern with great cut for lead lines and fast flatpicking.
Why choose the C10 Traditional?
Whether you are a flatpicker requiring clear note separation or a fingerstyle player seeking a balanced, intimate response, the C10 Traditional excels across genres. Its unique body shape provides a compressed, focused low-end that sits perfectly in a studio mix, while the ergonomic curves make it an ideal companion for long sets on stage.
Handcrafted in Austin, Texas, the C10 Traditional is a professional-grade tool designed for players who demand both world class tone and modern playability.
