D3 A Cocobolo SB

This custom D3 features a richly colored set of straight-grained Cocobolo, torrefied Adirondack spruce top, and a gorgeous 2-style sunburst. The heat of the torrefaction process naturally darkens the spruce and accentuates the grain, creating a satisfyingly rustic look against the sunburst finish. Aside from the striking looks, the pairing of these tonewoods in a dreadnought body size makes for a big sound with strong low-end response, yet retains the responsive and nuanced character of a well-matured instrument.
