This MT2 features a torrefied Adirondack spruce top and birdseye maple back and sides. The torrefication process both lightens and stiffens the structure of the wood, providing new options for tonality and response. Torrefication also darkens the appearance of both the Spruce and Maple, adding color, depth and a vintage style appearance to the sunburst on this striking instrument.
